I've now been part of a few shoots where we've used Kathryn at @Streamadelica amazing backdrops (mainly because Kate from @jumpthebroom is as obsessed as I am) and despite never yet meeting her, I'm a bit of a fan girl. They add such a modern and fun edge to decor and make the most beautiful sound in the wind 🍃⁠

Loved this amazing pastel setup, with Clare and Aurita looking stunning in the centre. Also, definitely starting to come around to using gyp in designs like this! Just not in jam jars. Sorry rustic weddings!⁠

I went to my first wedding in a long time as a guest this week and its as exactly what I needed! As a wedding supplier, we're part of a lot of weddings... but rarely the eating, drinking, dancing and partying parts and I had forgotten how much I missed it! ⁠

It's made me even more passionate about making my couples flowers even more perfect for their day. Hearing the gasps and whispers about how amazing the flowers looked first hand was a pretty special feeling I want everyone to have!⁠

Buttonholes are such a fun little things to make. I like to take little bits that featured in the bridal bouquet, add in a sprig of greenery and a dried bunny tail or some berries to give it a little added texture. ⁠

They have to be made the night before (and kept in water) or on the morning of the weddings which is another reason making your own wedding flowers would be stressful! ⁠

This is probably one of my most well loved bouquet designs according to my stories. I had to drive for ages after dropping this off and my phone was going crazy with notifications! ⁠

For me, this wedding was extra special as Amy is a wedding photographer! When someone in the wedding industry chooses me as their florist, it's such a privilege, they've seen so many florists and so much gorgeous work.. and they chose me 😊 no pressure!⁠

All of Amy's Inspo had poppies in so I knew I had to source some Icelandic poppies from somewhere, even though we were just at the end of season! I bought 2 bundles as they're notoriously fussy and we buy them closed so we never know what colour they will be (I've ended up with 200 the same shade of orange before when I wanted a mix!) but I had the perfect mix of yellows, oranges and the perfect pale salmon colours. ⁠
